Scrolling through my new found friends list I came across something about shortcuts and it started me thinking. I've never really believed in a right and a wrong way, shortcuts are just another way to go. There is only the way we choose to take, that's all that matters in the end. Perhaps the route we take will be a long winding path strewn with obstacles, but it becomes the right way the moment we step on to it. I've tried to keep this philosophy my whole life. Why? Well very simply because it stops me from falling into any form of self pity. The choice is always the right one because it's the one I made. It makes it much harder to look back and regret any decisions. (Not that I'm saying the person who mentioned it was feeling sorry for themselves I'm talking from a personal perspective.)
Oh I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for the incredibly warm welcome, it's great to see so many familiar faces around. Please say hello on AIM, (could it be cate) I only have one person listed so far because I've not had time to check people's AIM names yet so if anyone wants to comment with theirs please do so.
Right well I don't want to bore everyone to tears with my first real post so I'll end for now, I hope to talk to some of you very soon.
